Experience

I had been running The Crompton Baby Clinic for fifteen years before starting up my own Baby Clinic recently. Before running the Baby Clinic I have had extensive experience within the Paediatric field. I have worked in Intensive Care Units and Paediatric wards in the Durban area and in Cardiac and Neonatal Intensive Care Units at The Red Cross Children's Hospital in Cape Town.

I trained in London at St Thomas' Hospital and studied Paediatrics at Guys Hospital. I studied Midwifery at Mowbray Maternity in Cape Town and recently studied for a breast feeding qualification through Wits university which adds the title of Lactation Consultant to my experience.

I am now thoroughly enjoying working with families and helping new parents adjust to having a baby in the home. I help many mums who are returning to work and provide on going support to parents who are working hard but want to be very involved with caring for their children. I ran a successful, weekly mother's group until quite recently when I started my own Baby Clinic.
